When is the right time to get treatment for an eating disorder?

When is the right time to get treatment for an eating disorder?

The other day I was speaking to a friend of mine who used to be an “eating disorder buddy”. We would overexercise, undereat and report all the facts back to each other on what the scale said. By now we have all seen or heard about Portia de Rossi’s eating disorder battle. She was all over the media and captured a lot of attention. I got her book, Unbearable Lightness, a few weeks ago, then promptly lost it (it was in checked luggage that was never seen again).
