Juicing is a very popular concept available in Southern California. All of my friends are constantly stopping at Juice Bars in Santa Monica, Venice and beyond in search of a good juice (and often times a shot of wheat grass). I have to admit I never got into this movement. I prefer a latte over a green drink that smells funny any day of the week.

The holiday season is here and many of us are enjoying a vacation and time with family and friends. While watching television over the weekend I noticed that the numbers of weight loss, diet, cleanse, surgery commercials are up. Way up! In fact while watching football more than half the commercials were related to shedding those unwanted pounds.
